ACRASTRIP 600BG |

(pat. 5,854,190) A low VOC, zero HAPS water reducible solution that is designed to replace hazardous solvents and caustic strippers that are commonly used in finishing operations. ACRASTRIP 600BG has a combination of surfactants and organic solvents that penetrate through and under the coating to be removed. Some of the applications for which ACRASTRIP 600BG is most effective:

For speed and efficiency it is recommended that the reduced solution be heated. Depending on the thickness of the layers to be removed, results should be obtained between 15 to 60 minutes. bell cleaning |
1 part ACRASTRIP 600BG with 4 to 6 parts water heated from 120° to 150°F. (Also works very well with the use of an ultrasonic system) | ||

1 part ACRASTRIP 600BG with 3 parts water at ambient temp. | ||

Flushing
circulation
lines, etc. |
1 part ACRASTRIP 600BG with 4 to 6 parts water heated from at 150° to 165°F. Followed with an air purge. | ||

Part rework
|
1 part ACRASTRIP 600BG to 1 or 2 parts water heated from 150° to 165°F. (Also works very well with the use of an ultrasonic system) | ||

Rack stripping
|
1 part ACRASTRIP 600BG to 1 part water heated to 165° to 175°F. | ||
|

Booth
and
conveyor cleaning |
1 part ACRASTRIP 600BG to 5 parts water at ambient temp. and then hot water power washed. | ||
